    l was tracking a parcel that was supposed to be delivered by My Hermes. The tracking said delivered to letter box. But it wasnt, l was home all day and no parcel. Trying to contact them is a joke, no one to speak to, no one to email. l finally got an automated reply when l stated my package had not been delivered. lt said it had proof of delivery and would l like to see a photo. l typed yes and it showed a photo of a parcel sticking out of a letter box.
    Trouble was it wasnt my door or letterbox, so l looked around the neighbours houses to find it was delivered to my next door neighbour (even though my house number is clearly visible) trouble is l am not on speaking terms with my neighbour, l had to complain about him due to constant noise and in return he tried to kick my door in while wielding a hammer.
    So l cant go and knock on his door and ask for my package, and l dont see that he will volintarily bring it to me.
    Its not the first time l have had trouble with My Heremes, parcels left on the road, put in other peoples front lawns etc, absolutely useless and they hide by not letting anyone contact them. l wish sellers would stop using them.

    These people are a disgrace! They are impossible to contact, every attempt leads to a dead end, they obviously have numerous complaints otherwise it would be possible to contact them,
    The most terrible service ever, do not use this company!

    i should have had a parcel collected from Farnham on 21st Jan 2019 but it was not done i called head office next day who put me through to a call centre the young lady said she could not get it collected that day but rebooked it for the wed 23rd Jan 2018 BUT she booked the collection from ME not farnaham
    i have tried to contact Hermes again but no one answers any phone numbers it is so frustrating i will NOT be using them again or recommending them to any one

    Iv. Been waiting on a Parcel a Christmas present for a friend And it’s been with the courier with DPD then Hermes but no joy i oredeed it on the 15th ov December and Hermes apparently have it I received a phone call from someone from hermes on Friday saying it woukd be redelivered on saturday i waitef in all day And nothing i dont know what to do as i was sopussed to get a email call or reply text message letting me know when rhey will be arriving but yet again nothings another waste ov a day!!!im so furious but all i wabt is my parcel to arrive whewhen it’s supposed to !!     Disgusting unprofessional service who should not be delivering parcels They are refusing to deliver to a simple london address claiming the address is incorrect the sender and me have told them it is correct yet they just ignore it. No explanation 2 weeks and still on going they refuse to answer to complaints or enquires

    Why these stupid companies use this scum i will never understand! waited in for my parcel paid next day delivery for. Time slot given for between 12 and 2pm…1.16 they updated tracking to say parcel delivered and left in an outbuilding… I DONT HAVE A BLOODY OUTBUILDING!!! after numerous attempts to get hold of HERPES they sent me a photo of where he left it….IN SOMEONES BOOT IN A BOX IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SHED!!!! no picture of the actual house or number just that!. I now have to wait 48 hours for them to investigate…IM SICK OF THESE TOSSERS getting away with this…where the hell is Trading Standards? how many reports does it take to get action..they have even been shown on TV for throwing parcels over peoples roofs and sheds GET THEM SHUT DOWN!!!

      You are lucky, the Driver that is suppose to cover my area, has refused to come to my address for over 8 years now. Only 7 parcels since this time has been delivered because they have used a different driver. All other parcels have been returned to sender, I have Complained Hundreds of times but I’ve had every excuse anybody can think of. At one time they told me they had Sacked him,,, another big Lie…. I hate for they is off the scale… I truly believe a Politician is employed by them. Or someone high up in the EU Government…..

    HERMES SHOULD BE RENAMED AS HERPES AVOID THIS SHODDY COMPANY AT ALL COSTS PARCELS ARE RARELY DELIVERED AND NO CARD IS EVER LEFT THE WORST OFFENDERS ARE MAIDSTONE DEPOT DO NOT BELIEVE THE TRACKING INFORMATION AS ITS MADE UP.THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT A HUMAN TO ASK WHAT IS GOING ON AND EMAILS ARE USELESS .

    The delivery lady who is very rude and aggressive try to run me over with her vehicle. I jumped out of the way and got hit by her bumper. I did take it up with hermes but seems no one ever done anything or investigated.
    Now my parcel was due delivery yesterday and there was no attempt by driver and rather she put notes saying customer abusive. Pretty shocked and very upset with service even though she hit me with her vehicle and still has not faced any disciplinary or investigation. She has then subsequently refused and returned all my parcels and not been questioned at all by her superiors. This is a shame and very bad duty of care and professionalism towards customers

    This is the BEST NON DELIVERY company ever and WORST DELIVERY company on this planet, the numpty doing deliveries puts a card through the door with a stroke in the box there are two perfectly sized boxes on this card for the numpties name in one and mobi in the other three cards six blank boxes why have them on the card this company is incompetent you cannot get them by phone they don’t answer emails and the guy delivering in my area now is a lazy Ba*tard he did not even try one of our neighbours the previous delivery guy was superb but he left a couple of weeks ago to join a PROPER COURIER DELIVERY SERVICE I don’t know how this lot are still in Business

    My husband is waiting on 3 parcels supposed to be delivered yesterday we were not in should have been redelivered today my husband left a card on the door asking to put them in blue bin as there was no phone number on the 3 cards yesterday or a couriers name and one of the cards was in my garden not happy with the service and can’t get through on any phone numbers.     I’ve used My Hermes for quite some time. I got a call from a woman the other day saying my parcel got damaged in transit. This parcel was the only one I’d ever insured over £100 funny that I had 8 vintage watches one of which the back was missing in there (which was T the only one returned to me) plus a Rolex Daytona.
    I am fumming, cannot get to speak to someone, I advise anyone that use’s these DO NOT PUT INSURANCE HIGH..!!
    Anyone else have this experience.? An CANNOT get to speak to some.

    For a well known company, I think this is disgusting that you’re sent from puller to post even sent e-mails for them to contact me. NO REPLY.. Grrrrr….!!!

    your customer services phone number is out of order

    your driver leaves the wrong number on the slip of paper he puts through the door

    your switchboard number fails to put one through to anybody in your offices and simply cuts people off

    I need to know when your driver will arrive today please as I have a hospital appointment between 2.00PM and 3.30PM today

    I cannot believe how entirely useless this firm is. I realise that things can go wrong in the best of circles but it’s how the problem is resolved that differentiates good firm from the rubbish. There is NO way of contacting Hermes – ring them and get a recording – live chat and get told to wait 28hrs for an investigation then 2-3 DAYS for another check, Next came an email telling me the parcel had been delivered but it was a previous days parcel I knew had been delivered. The most ANNOYING thing was they quoted the 16 figure reference for the parcel they hadn’t delivered mixing it with the parcel I’d sent before.
    YES Royal Mail is more expensive but I’ve spent days on this and never had a problem with Royal Mail.
    If you’ve bothered to read my rant PLEASE take note that IF you have a problem this firm is TOTALY USELESS – good luck

    I’ve been impressed with their pricing and delivery until one failed to arrive and they expect me to wait and wait while they keep asking for more information. If it’s been lost for over a month, they should refund and continue their investigations. I paid extra insurance, they lost it but expect me to pay. Unbelievable – bloody crooks and I will NEVER use them again and will discourage any one else from doing so too

    0757472247514083 I used your company to send a parcel (Mirror) after a few days you sent me an email informing me that you had lost my item at your depot! I then after trying to talk to someone via phone, email & online chat fill out a claims form for the cost of the item YOU lost and the cost of a delivery that I payed you to do but you failed to do it! You have now sent me an email 2 infact saying that you are not refunding my money for the item or drivers because it was a mirror, whether it was a mirror or not you lost the item, I payed you a fee to delivery it you failed on your side of the contract. I have it in writing that you lost the item at the depot! The people who I have spoken with so far are just sending generic replies! What are you going to do about this?

    I actually managed to speak to someone polite at Hermes after a week of trying (including visiting the head office in Morley). I’d recommend calling the courier wages number (0113 3976902) if you want to speak to a real person.

    I receive parcels for a variety of addresses as the courier can’t be bothered to find the real address and expects me to deliver the parcels for him it seems.

    When I spoke to the customer service department (after being transferred from the courier wages dept) they told me to leave the parcel where it was…they didn’t seem to grasp I didn’t particularly want a pile of someone elses parcels on my doorstep indefinitely. Eventually the customer service agent hung up on me.

    All I wanted was a number to arrange for the parcels to be re-delivered. Even after speaking to this gent they won’t give me a depot number, but say ring back when it happens again and they’ll speak to the courier.

    I said I would either bin any further parcels or return them to head office after a fortnight…all your missing parcels are probably in some random persons garage who can’t be bothered to go to this effort.

    Hermes are based in Morley on Capitol Boulevard for anyone who’s interested. Despite requiring pass access to enter the building it was no problem to just tailgate one of their employees for access…shows how secure the delivery service is!

    They also tell great big lies on thier, ‘Track your parcell’ website.
    I placed an order with Argos for a guitar tuner and the next day, as instructed, I put my 16 digit product code into thier system. Within seconds it revealed that I would recieve my order ‘Today’. I phoned thier number where again I had to install my 16 digit number. I was then informed ,(electronically) that I might have to wait 5 to 7 days. I phoned Argos who did nothing but apologise and told me that they’d get Hermes to phone me with an apology and a delivery date and time. I’m still waiting…..
    I don’t think it’s a good service.
    and when they do; eventually deliver my order, then they can take it straight back to the boss with a gesture from my middle finger

    You should sue herpes too. They have a duty of care to ensure their staff. (or private contractors) are sutible and
    safe to employ. Trading standards need to be involved also. Finally tell whoever you purchase from you will not trade with them if they continue to use such a service. More so if you’re charged for delivery

    Never ever use Hermes or allow them to be used unless you pay through Paypal.
    That way you get your money back instantly.
    I always warn retailers that if they choose MyHermes I will probably end up claiming my money back or asking them to send replacements through Royal Mail.
    We must stop people using this band of scammers & thieves and that way they will go out of business in the UK.

      I fully agree with what is being said on the negative side of Hermes but lately I’ve given them another chance & on several occasions they have ‘delivered’ without a hitch apart from one disconcerting episode in that Parcel to go who use Hermes to do their deliveries sent me a bill after the event and told me to pay a surcharge for the parcel which was in a polythene bag and of course had a bit of polythene with nothing whatsoever in that ‘spare’ wrapping material in it. Parcel2 go said the submitted size was incorrect by a few millimeters which was rubbish……..
      I sent them an email which was not replied to pointing out the facts of the submitted size which was correct and that I refused to be conned because this is exactly what their demands were – a con.

    I’m 80 years old and was expecting a parcel so I left a note on the door saying I was in the back and would he/she walk around but he just stuck a note in saying he was sorry he missed me, no other information

    I swore I would never use Hermes again but they go under Parcels-to-go now. Booked collection for 4 parcels and email confirmation received saying collection would be Thursday 8am-8pm . Waited in ALL DAY! Never showed up, no text or email to say. Went on website and took the REBOOK option for next day collection. Had a text from courier asking how many parcels I had and how big they were! Why courier is asking such questions when I take the time to weigh and measure my parcels to enable booking in first place I don’t know, but shouldn’t they have it on their system, plus why do they need to ask that? Well I found out later when I got a call at 12.30pm saying she had finished work for that day and would I be in Monday for collection! I told her I had expected collection yesterday but no one came, she said the collections were not even on her manifest! Also she said she had text me that morning (Friday) and also knocked my door – which is a lie as there were 2 of us in and no one knocked the door! I said I would change to the drop off service but would want a refund for extra money paid to have them collected. She said she could collect at 5pm but they would be sitting in her house until Monday. What kind of circus is this? Has no organisation stepped in and shut them down as unacceptable yet? Why is this company accepted? If you have integrity and work for Hermes then you are definitely wasted in this farce of an organisation!

    We have had a lot of problems with this company. It started with a parcel that we never received. The person who delivered it said she had a signature from us which she didn’t as no one was there to sign her delivery sheet. The parcel has gone missing. From that point on we have made numerous atemptS to resolve the problems as now they won’t deliver to our house, they say that they have been to our house and have left a calling card but people have been in the house and no calling cards have been left. We have spoken to the help desk on numerous occasions and been told that the local manager will ring us back to talk about this but he has never rung. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Unfortunately a lot of companies use this company for there deiveries so we stuck with who we order from. I really do think that they believe that they think we are lying about not receiving the first parcel and are playing some stupid game with us and not delivering any of our parcels

    I’ve tried 3 different numbers to get help to get past the acceptance of terms and conditions on the application form, and can’t speak to any one, just like Mel Steele, all the numbers just refer me back to online, no wonder there are so many unemployed in this country, if all companies are like this

    Trying to get hold of this company is like waiting for an answer from GOD they have made it impossible for someone to have a conversation it’s probably the worst delivery company tradeing out there I’ve had lots of things sent to this company for delivery and they always get it wrong and when you try to get hold of someone it’s impossible what a load of crap if you order something and then your told it will be delivered by this company cancel it and get it somewhere else it’s not worth the hassle

    my parcel has been “on its way back to the retailer ” (according to the hermes tracker) for 10 days. I have tried all the telephone numbers including the 011 number and they ALL refer you back to “on line ” communication unless of course you have no problem with calling Paris! after waiting endlessly on line for an “on line chat” ( I was number 37) I was told that because it was a “returns ” parcel I could not be helped . i am constantly told to refer to the retailer however all they can tell me is they have not received the parcel i know this because according to hermes its “on its way back to the retailer” meanwhile, i am attracting interest on my credit card. my next course of action is going to have to be by way of the CEO. Really !

    We are having a problem with one of your deliver Harlow Essex CM20…her name is Sharon drive’s fiat…been boycotting our house we have had 12+parcel return to sender…with out trying to deliver….this is not acceptable and very unprofessional….
    She was very rude to me on one occasion so I told her not to be rude and this is what is happening now boycotting our house

    I’ve had two bad experiences with Hermes. No collection so full refund thro Paypal.
    Then within a year they lost new chainsaw chains but firstly could not find an address used by Amazon. I would think that would be stole not lost. Parcel2go subbed that job to them.

    Just suffered a very similar experience to so many others. This company needs to be prosecuted. I am especially concerned about the forging of my signature which was posted on line in their tracking data which makes the companies’ excuse of “accidental recording of delivery” a nonsense and deliberate fraud and has to be illegal.
    I feel sorry for the couriers who are obviously poorly paid under pressure, but the management at the top is ultimately responsible. I intend to write a letter to the CEO. Carole Woodhead (carole.woodhead@hermes-europe.co.uk). My letter will be marked “personal” and sent, (with a signature on receipt required. by the Royal Mail.
    At least I can be sure that it will be delivered.

    Hermes calls itself one of the UK’s leading online delivery solutions! But its delivery drivers hurl parcels over gates and fences, leave packages with neighbours without letting the recipient know where they’ve left their items and post ‘sorry I missed you slips’ through letter boxes when homeowners are in and they have simply not bothered to knock. When challenged by customers, they are rude and sometimes aggressive.
    It is impossible to report incidents as the only phone numbers Hermes provide lead to an automated service.
    Appalling.

    No person to deliver complaint to. Doorbell went with delivery, rushed to door by which time car was leaving, I shouted, no response. See he left a completely I filled in form saying sorry I missed you when he did not even wait, no contact number, nothing. How do I get hold of this parcel? Terrible company

    Crap phone service hung up without answering. Just to say had a European guy at my door this morning said he was a Hermes delivery guy. (Paperwork Confirmed). He put a note through my door. I opened door before he left but hey ho he had no parcel for me or anyone else in the street. Just in case there are weirdos out there just thought out should know……….

    I also had parcels go missing from london on route milton keynes had a email saying its got smashed up in the van put a claim heard nothing spoke to online chat about 45 times rang them 20 times and still no refund or compensation they dont respond to emails

    HERMES have got to be THE PITS OF ANY COURIER SERVICE & an ABSOLUTE FCKING JOKE to even call themselves a courier service.. Their drivers (one in particular) leaves my parcels outside my front door, they NEVER ring my working doorbell or rattle my working letterbox so I cannot even go & pick up any parcels when they have been dumped on my doorstep & as I’m disabled, I very rarely go out so therefore,have no need to open my front door. I have had parcels not delivered, or if they have been, they’ve been stolen, maybe the Hermes delivery guy has not even bothered delivering them at all &when they ARE dumped on my doorstep, most of them are SO battered, they look like they have been involved in a World Cup Final football match. How they have the nerve to take people’s money from them & make them believe that they CAN deliver any parcel quickly, efficiently & in one piece.!!!
    If I can make one suggestion…SACK THE DRIVER OF VAN 96-DROP 69-C-ROUND 8353….REASON.?? HE OWES ME A STACK OF ITEMS THAT HAVE GONE MISSING & HE CLEARLY DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO BE A DELIVERY DRIVER….END OF.!!!

    I sent parcel to waterford south ireland 3wks before christmas . Currier lifeline currier delivered it . There was nobody in so he left card he did not put righr referance one number was crossed out . When we went to pick up parcel they could not make out number so we have not got parcel with christmas presents . To date . Everytime my brother goes to try and get parcel they are closed on kilbarry waterford south ireland .

    Dreadful company do not use. All I want is a returns label (they said it was attached to their email, it wasn’t). Have tried emailing them, live chat and returns web site.     I am waiting from 22.12.16 for my parcel, first attempt was on the 24.12.16 when the surgery is close as is my work place, second was 28.11.16, the driver didn’t even bother to come, as we will see him. Now my parcel is nowhere and I do not know who to contact anymore… Please can anybody help me as tomorrow is Friday and we will be close again till next Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!?????     Brighton courier has seemingly stolen my package as a Xmas present for his kids as tracking info has not been updated for 14 days now – Been on Hermes webchat ‘thing’ twice now and had to wait an hour each time – massively frustrating as hermes are not willing to try and find the missing package and have told me to claim – problem is I’ve been promised a Claim Form link twice now by email and absolutely nothing has been sent..I’m probably going to be arrested by this time next week as Head Office in Leeds is going to get a visit from a seriously pissed off customer.
    The absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced – these people are absolute criminals and couldn’t give a damn about their customers !
    Never, ever again…

    Hermes dropped a parcel and left it behind a blue bin, they didn’t even leave a note telling me, I still haven’t received this parcel, I rang up the new look where I ordered it from and they told me it says ‘behind blue bin in a safe place’ I am fuming, what you going to do about this?     I was wating for a delivery all week,it came on saturday when no one was home so the stupid driver threw my package over an 8 foot high gate. As the package contained glass items you can guess what the result was (smash) plenty of broken glass in the parcel.Are all there drivers this stupid why not hand it to a neighbour

    Interestingly, Hermes Crewe depot (which is the depot posting the tracking updates above) is currently advertising (via Manpower) for a delivery driver to start immediately. One of the requirements is ‘the ability to deliver up to 60 drops per day’. Now, let’s assume that whichever poor sod gets the job is happy to disregard driving hours regulations and puts in 20 hours per day – that’s 3 deliveries per hour, including driving time. If he’s only prepared to work 12 hours a day (with no breaks) he has to make 5 deliveries an hour, one every 12 minutes. If he sticks to his permitted driving hours (8 hours), that’s a delivery every 8 minutes…
    I live 90 mins drive from the Crewe depot – a 3 hour round trip – so unless there’s 59 other deliveries to be made within a mile or so of my address I can’t see my package arriving anytime soon.
    Amazon have been made aware of the issue, and have ‘asked them [Hermes] to deliver your order on priority basis as soon as possible’. That was 2 days ago…

    Ordered from 2 separate retailers both parcel were to be delivered by Hermes one was supposed to have been left in porch securely it wasn’t there no card pushed through door parcel number 2 on tracking site said out for delivery never turned up this Hermes are absolutely disgraceful untrustworthy I don’t know for the life of me why retailers are using them to deliver I am disgusted with them as a company

      I hope every one without a Paypal account sorted one out for themselves because as I said in previous posts it is essential to have a Paypal account with which to pay Hermes or any other business for that matter because my several emails / phone calls did absolutely nothing to get Hermes going until I decided that enough was enough and started the resolution process so easily accessed by Paypal.
      I did not expect a full refund for a consignment to be collected but had to rely on the seller taking the item to a shop to be collected by Hermes. I did eventually get that item delivered to me but also got a full refund as said….. Serves Hermes right because they failed on the contract and good on yer Paypal !!!!!
      What would I have done without my Paypal I do not know perhaps the bloody parcel would be still sitting there if it was left to Herme’s operatives waiting to be collected =ridiculous.
      I made note of the fact that 87 people were in the queue before me waiting to speak with the futile Indian call centre. Take note Hermes that the first thing to do if Hermes
      have their customers welfare at heart is to get a better system of communication sorted out otherwise yiour customers will think you do not give a shit about them.

    First experience of this company. Just received an e- mail stating that delivery was unsuccessful due to no one available to receive parcel. Strange as I was in and still am. Trying to contact these people is impossible. Hopefully they have received my Webchat comment, although I expect it to be auto deleted.

    ordered a present for my son it took 4 days for hermes to collect it take it to their warehouse and then do nothing with it still not been delivered and no form of customer services at all no-one to speek to. Called the free phone number to see if anyone could even just point me in the right direction and got one of the rudest women i have ever had the displeasure of talking to who started laughing when i said that the parcel that they havent delivered is for my son’s birthday in 4 days time. They are a total disgrace of a company and so are their staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Best to pay Hermes by Paypal because Hermes know Paypal has kudos and for a start you will get an email from a human in the UK as opposed to being 87 (or there abouts) waiting in the queue to speak with someone with usually an accent you cannot make head or tails of and even if you can understand whoever you speak with
      it may well make not a blind bit of difference but on the other hand if you have paid by Paypal you have a great deal of a chance that the nerve you are seeking will be
      tweeked and hence the email from an operative who dosn’t live 8000 or so miles away!
      I would go so far as to say the Paypal account when having no one on your side to sort out problems with Hermes when things go wrong is essential………….
      If you haven’t got a Paypal account then get one you definitely be thankful for it
      mark my words……..
      In can just hear you know who in the office if in fact they have an office —–
      better sort this one out he/she’s got Paypal —if we don’t sort it out we’ll get the lot stopped! Maybe even me wages!!!!!!!

    Ahh well – I guess it was inevitable – final response this afternoon, “parcel lost within our network” I guess there must be some pretty big cracks in their warehouses/sorting premises. The package weighs between 10-15kgs and is approx. 60cm wide by at least 40cm high. What hope for any small packages? I was about to hit the “BIN” button tonight for something else and saw it was a Hermes Tracked. I didn’t go on with the purchase. I’ve already been refunded but I would have much preferred the sewing machine. Someone, somewhere is going to have a nice Christmas! 😉

    Again and again. Hermes have done the same thing they have bee doing to me over the past year. I get a message that they have a parcel for me, leave the tracking number.
    So I look up the tracking number… Then I ‘F’ see that the local Hermes driver has had it for the past week. On read the story line. Icasn see when the local courier gets possession of my parcel, then the shock which they don’t even try to hide, a couple of minutes later the local courier records “” delay due to address access “” ?????? He doesn’t even attempts to come to my address. Because he doesn’t want to,he just doesn’t bother. I have pointed out this fact to Hermes customers support dozens of times. Which they choose to ignore, and say as I’m not the sender I’ll have to contact the retailer and get them to report it… AAAAaaaaaaa.
    What I like to know, who in this country has the power to stick it to them ???

        Cheers Jan. I have told the people who state they use a courier service, not to use them 9.9% of the time they agree. But there are the ones who ignore the message and there are the ones who don’t even gives you the option the tell them, by the time they receive your email their stores dept have already dispatched it …
        To take a court action against them cost so much money, it would be great to find a Solicitors who will take All complaints in one action. Which would save a lot of time and money and the courts would look at it more favorable on our side, when the is dozens complaining..

    I received a phone call earlier this morning from someone rather more sensible than those on the web chats (acting on my email) Her own checks have revealed that no investigation had been started. She was able to tell me that whilst my missing parcel was on the driver’s manifest he had not actually received it. Profuse apologies and assurance that she would keep me updated. I have some new hope – that the parcel is sitting quietly in some corner gathering dust.

    Well Well Well — talk about the devil & he’ll appear is the saying. Hermes delivery just pulled up so I asked this guy a subcontractor to them when did he get the consignment? today he said so that makes a lie re yesterday………….. Email after the delivery = light & heavy so it will be delivered on a bigger van. please allow another 48 hours for delivery sorry for the inconvenience!
    I think there is a lesson to be learned in all this lot!

        Pay pal Paypal Paypal and Paypal again = resolution action = email from UK within 4 hours. Anyone with experience with dealing with big business will know it’s money that influences all and sundry to do what is right.
        Customers will get no joy from live chat which is operated from India. This seems organized to fob off. Paypal on the other hand I would wager will get to the office of those who can get something done and that is exactly what the first phone call from a concerned customer requires but experience underlines that umpteen phone calls umpteem live chats do not get anywhere……. Paypal has got clout and Hermes and anyone like them is aware of that fact.
        ie there is a very real chance that a company who is paid by Paypal will lose the payment as it is refunded to the’injured’ party. This is because UK law states that a contract has to be fulfilled. There is no mumbo jumbo at all in this situation. get Paypal and be happy and when you get a well deserved refund, smile and be content that you’ve earned it.

      Further webchat today – I will keep the pressure up. “Please refer to the various webchats – do not include in your response, wait another 24hrs” Two lines later? yes you guessed it.

      “How difficult can it be to contact the local courier it was handed to . . .” Marvellous response to this was “we are unable to . . . as they are self-employed and uses their personal phones.” Great use of the English language and in direct contradiction to the information I was given in their email on Wednesday.

      “Which Country are you currently sitting in?” – silence.

      I have now emailed the UK CEO (and her assistant) and Head of Customer Services, I have given them until Tuesday to find and deliver the parcel intact and undamaged. I have had to open a dispute with eBay even though it is not the seller’s fault. Next step Trading Standards come Wednesday though I guess I may not have much joy as the contract to deliver is not directly with me?

      Can I invoice Hermes for my time?

        If buying through E bay and postage and packing was included in your final price you have a right to claim from any courier who fails to deliver in the contract is agreed time as you have paid for the service through a third party provider.
        Even if private subcontractors claiming to be self-employed are used by the courier service they the said courier service still have the duty of care to ensure that they deliver within the contracted time
        As for claiming time and money if you have proof of all time and expenses you may be able to take them to the small claims court for renumeration
        As I doubt any national Courier service would settle without any lawful claim going to court.

    And to think that a few weeks ago I wanted to leave some positive feedback! Quite a few of my ebay purchases are delivered by Hermes and as I work, the parcels are often left in sensible places. I don’t believe that I’ve ever been left an “I’ll come by later” card.

    But this week? Like many other comments, I fear that my purchase, a Singer One Plus Sewing Machine, has found its way into someone else’s hands. The tracked delivery date was Saturday 15th October 2016 which then moved to Friday 14th – great! No. 1st webchat on Saturday yielded a “please wait – investigation team will contact you in 24-48hrs.” 2nd webchat – same result. Email from Customer Services yesterday, “we have checked with our courier and the parcel was delivered on the 14th” Yes, but check again, that parcel which was thrown over the back gate onto the back door step, was fabric and a completely different tracking number – it didn’t weigh 10-15kgs. I suggested someone more competent should investigate the disappearance of my parcel.

    I have to wonder how they managed to find a tracking number albeit not the right one, for a package that was delivered and full audit on the tracking. Interestingly, both packages show “Out with the recipient’s local courier” at exactly the same time & date 0634 – Fri 14 Oct. If I am to believe the tracking details, my package has not yet made it into the hands of an actual driver to actually deliver.

    Webchat this evening – “request you to allow 24hrs” when pushed as to what the investigation team were doing – “will look to solve your query regarding the size” What the heck does that have to do with anything? When asked if the operator could directly answer a question or are they instructed to stick to a script – the silence spoke volumes.

    Oh, but wait a minute I think I may have a solution as to where Hermes as a company is – in a device called Time And Relative Dimension In Space or failing that perhaps in Narnia. These are real – right? That is the only explanation as to how 24-48hrs can stretch to 120hrs and counting.

    As drivers are paid per delivery of parcel, I wonder if they ever have to pay the money back for all those parcels that were never actually received?

    Thanks for the posted head office address – stern letter is in the making.

      I have not got a shred of faith that Hermes will resolve a problem when problems occur.
      The stupid statement known only to Hermes “out with local courier”! the next day same again…….. Is my consignment in two vans ? Have Hermes cut my consignment in half?
      What underlines the futility of the shambles that seem to represent Hermes lately is that 87 people were waiting to contact Hermes ‘live chat’ at just past 6pm the other day.
      Does this information get to the right people in responsible positions in that company?
      Like all big companies is the saying coming home to roost = the bigger the company the bigger the cockup?
      I’m still waiting for my consignment to be delivered despite it being as per the tracking saying it’s been with the local courier since 4pm yesterday.
      Paypal will resolve the atrocious treatment by a big discount or full refund.

    Hermes can get things right but I am now one of thousands who cannot get any sense out of them. How can they explain that the parcel will not be collected when the driver
    has been once to collect it? The website has been developed by a person who wears slip on shoes because he finds it impossible to tie a knot! Hermes should be on television as soon as possible to at least explain why their couriers do not have to leave a collect note with the point of collection as there is no proof that the parcel has been collected which seems to say the least the company is devious and underhanded. For thousands of perspective customers that anomaly should be enough not to use Hermes. After that little lot comes the multitude of inept customer service but not by telephone because no matter what phone number is used you will not be able to speak with anyone whatsoever. There is an answer to the telephone number but the man answering will not discuss anything to do with parcel delivery only their couriers problems and even they are in a big queue. Why did I not do enough research before booking a collection with them?

    For over a year I been having problems with Hermes, their local ( self employed Courier) has refused to deliver to my address. I’ve had every excuse under the sun, from a flat tyre, forest trucks have blocked the road, unmade road, gate locked?, non access code and sharp stones on the track. I told them several times he can phone me and I will meet him on the main road before the track. But still refuses to deliver which I believe to be personal now, but I don’t know this driver. Hermes have never done anything to help me, then two weeks ago stated that this driver no longer works for them. But this week the same thing happened with the same excuses. So no only this driver refuses to deliver to me, but Hermes has lied through their teeth to satisfy me, but they have been caught out. Now I tell my suppliers no to use Hermes or will have to get my goods from else where.
    Has any one got some advise what action I can take… Cheers.

    Don’t bother with hermes. There are many phone numbers on Internet for them which means if u hav complaints to make u r on a wild goose chase. If u email complaints it takes 5 days for them to get back to u. It wasn’t until after I paid for a parcel to b collected and delivered that I was made aware by hermes that I needed to be able to print a label off to put on my parcel to be collected. I text courier for help. Text was ignored. Hermes are crap. Julie heminsley. This website will not allow you to rate the stars out of 5 any lower than 2 and a half. Give hermes a very wide berth.

    I think the problem is they are all self employed there for no commitment to the job.

      Hi Janet you can see my problem with Hermes I spoke with ideal world they got in contact with Hermes who put the matter right within 24 hours wasn’t happy as I told him I didn’t want Hermes to be used now they will tell me they are not going to use Hermes for me ever again tell your suppliers the same you have the right because if you are paying for the package and posting you have that rightI have also sent a letter to the CEO parcelnet Paris who are the controllers of Hermes UK so I doubt I will get any reply

    Same old problem with Hermes. Tracking says one thing but not in real time as package still not delivered.
    Contact to Hermes Directly almost impossible.
    Spoken with supplier, in future will not use if they continue to use Hermes.
    l have worked at Nuneaton Hermes so know all the scames and tricks, also witnessed “Package Football”
    MY next action will be sending Hermes (Parcelnet Paris) C.E.O a letter and poss copies of all the social chit chat on their “Wonderful” service

    My God what do you have to do to get to speak to someone what a awful awful company they say they have been by email but no they haven’t I have stayed in now 2 days and no one as attempted to deliver my parcels , they say they have attempted noway have you don’t fool me im not stupid also this isn’t the first time this as happened to me and my Aunty had the same thing had to go back to retailer why are you still in business I don’t know , I have had nothing thru door and no one as come to my door you try and make out its us whos in the wronge well its you you say you have been but I don’t think you do just sit on your posterias and make out its us if I was you close your doors as you don’t seem to care about your retailers or customers no customer care at all I booked for next day delivery and I looked on my email tracking the day after and it said that it was out for delivery with Carrier at 9 30 am 2 days later it asnt arrived Hermes .

    They should rename this company HERPES instead, same chances of receiving your delivery, as the transmission of above virus ~about 50/50, risks increasing with activity of carrier.
    My nightmare began 2wks ago, when I purchased a semi-valuable item from a seller using this cursed company. Waited for delivery to no avail; checked tracking info & it said item had been out for delivery (but not collected by local courier) for some time – meaning item possibly stuck @ depot stage?? Anyway, I tried to contact Herpes, meaning speak to an actual human, only to find that Herpes try their hardest to make this small feat, impossible. So I grudgingly used the next available means of communication – their ‘live chat’, where u will waste 10mins of your life, to exchange shorthand typed messages with an indifferent, useless humunoid drone, who will respond with unhelpful, generic answers & display the customer care skills of an SAS operative. Ultimately, you’ll be directed to your seller, b4 the initiation of any investigation on your parcel’s whereabouts. They will also simply repeat the available basic tracking info, which still doesn’t pinpoint where the actual feck your parcel is!

    I got a more telling response from my local Hermes courier, who happened to deliver a different parcel to my address, when I asked about my ‘lost’ parcel. I was told some clever herpes ppl actually write the contents of the parcel on outer packaging ( so in my case, that was ‘mobile phone’ scrawled on packaging to tempt any light fingered jobsworth) & that 3 packages marked ‘mobile phone’ had gone walkies from the Enfield depot in 1 wk, alone….Great…at least I’ve got closer to discovering what’s happened to my parcel.

    The seller has been in contact with herpes & they’re conducting ‘an investigation’ 2 wks after it was sent out & we’ll have to wait 48hrs with baited breath, for outcome. Then the fun part of seller claiming a refund, if it’s not located. As I said to the seller, ‘better off using Royal Mail’, this company are abysmal. I don’t even know how they’re still trading. Yes some individual drivers/couriers are fantastic, but the company overall is terrible. The poor customer service is reflective of this. Btw the following no. 03303336556 is your best bet to getting matters resolved, especially if you’re the parcel sender. ( I always select option for sender, as opposed to recipient…seem to get quicker response). So in short, still no delivery, still no explanation & still no refund….I guess the battle continues, oh & be warned that their compensation doesn’t exceed £50, so it’s looking even more hopeful🙄

    sent some heated rollers with myhermes (who i use regular) packed in lots of bubble wrap and box. the delivery driver threw the parcel over a 6 foot gate smashing all of the casing!! i contacted myhermes via email and they answered with a complaints form which i filled in and returned they sent me the complaints form again and again saying i had not returned it. i filled them in attached the photos and then got an email saying the case was closed as i had not returned the claim form. i then went back to the old email filled in the claim form again and sent it, this morning i have had another message from myhermes ANOTHER CLAIM FORM !!!!!!!!!
    i can not understand why myhermes do not give a complaints phone line and do not believe that there is a technical error . if that was the case and they were not receiving my filled in complaints form why did they reply this morning when they said the claim was closed…..GREAT COMPANY WHEN ALL GOES WELL, OTHERWISE THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY EVER.

    Hermes have got to be the worst company going. Their customer service is atrocious, their phone lines cost 44pence per minute & their scum of the earth delivery drivers completely vandalised my front door by smashing my LOCKED cat flap through leaving a massive whole in my door & broken plastic inside. I was home & they hadn’t even bothered to knock the door or ring the bell & I witnessed them walking back to their van laughing!!! Why it took 2 of them to deliver 1 pair of jeans is beyond me!! After Hermes notified the drivers of my complaint the drivers then returned to my property, intimidating my young daughter & insisting they wanted access to our house to inspect the damage. Hermes would not give me the names of the drivers so I could forward them to the police because of the data protection act but they didn’t worry about protecting my family & left us wide open to bullying & intimidation of their scum employees!!!!! AVOID – AVOID – AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

    Phone MyHermes on their customer care contact number 0844 543 7000 to discuss your parcel deliveries, complaints and feedback.

    Alternatively call MyHermes’ head office on 0113 397 6400 or contact the courier helpdesk at the head office on 01133 976 902 – note that these are direct numbers to contact MyHermes’ head office so phonelines are only manned during normal office hours.

    if you get through to an Indian number JUST HANG UP you will get more help from a Séance finding out where it is. hope this helps good luck

    Valuable rug left out in rain, in spite of notice on door asking for delivery next door…..put notice on both back AND front doors and last week shoes left in snow. Ordered more shoes, adding note to Clarks to please deliver next door…..just came home to find shoes on door step, no notification indicating where they were, it as only by chance I saw them. Useless

    what can i say . an pensioner in a private car doing pick ups and deliveries. yes a truly professional outfit. can take up to 3 days for a pick up. then when he does arrive he has no space in his car. then dos not appear again . pay the extra get someone else, as for the Indian call centre, they must have a script to follow and that’s that. i would have got more help from my cat.all in all really bad. one last one i sent a parcel to a company and found out it wasn’t delivered. when i chased it up i was told there driver had been banned from the premiss. you couldn’t make this stuff up.

    Horrible customer service which is not helpful at all, arogant and selfish couriers. I had 2 orders booked for a different days, courier didn’t turned up for them to picked my parcels up for 2 days and on a third day courier said that im not gonna take it as you have to many boxes. But why he haven’t collected them from me for the first two days? Will never ever recommend to use HERMES service. If its cheaper it doesn’t mean that itll be better. There is loads different courier services which is a lot better than a HERMES.

    Who is Hermes? It seems to go under various names, Parcelnet, MyHermes, My Parcelnet!! Whoever they are they are total rubbish and if you try to complain they lie about who they are and push you on to someone else in their elusive triangle!!!
    I had a parcel “delivered” by them yesterday, except it was thrown down outside a neighbours house 5 doors down. She came home and found it on her doorstepand kindly brought it down to me, there was a clear address written on the labe and both our houses have Name Plates which are highly visable, this firm needs to clean up their act or else be investigated!
    This is not the first time I have been victim to their inefficient ways, nor the last I suspect. I have made a complaint to the company who uses them as couriers, I also told them I would not order goods again from them after this last epic saga.
    I am sure there are some very good couriers out there who work hard for them and do a good job, I feel sorry they are having to take the brunt for rubbish employers! I have infact only had 2 trouble free deliveries from this company over several years.

    Dear sir / madam, i am writing to you to make a formal complaint about one of your delivery drivers. When my parcel got delivered on the 4th of April, i was out that day so what your delivery driver did was to leave it in the pouring rain so when i got back home my parcel was completely soggy. Also the parcel must have been thrown over the gate because it was by my back door and my back gate is pad locked which the parcel is breakable and damage has been caused so i would like to make a claim.

Hermes has left a sorry I missed you ticket in my mail box and not left a contact number in box where it says courier driver name & phone number so how can I contact for delivery!!!!!!     I absolutely despair of Hermes and parcelnet. Several times we have had to turn away deliveries for someone else. The delivery drivers didn’t even have the right address for the addressee of the parcel and refused to believe us! I am currently trying to return parcels that again have been delivered to an incorrect address but were taken in by our neighbours! I am now on Day 5 of waiting. Simply not good enough Hermes!!!

    My agent decided as I had refused delivery of an item which had not been ordered he would then take the next parcel back as well. I had told him that when the QVC parcel come I would except delivery but not the one from ebay as not ordered. His answer was he could not tell them apart….strange as one had QVC written over the parcel and the other one the senders address

    First time i ever used a courier, as i was returning a parcel to germany i thought it would be a cheaper alternative to royal mail. Big mistake the parcel was picked up last thurs & ive been unable to track. The phone numbers i tried no one answers. You can only communicate through live chat. They dont know where my parcels gone . I think its been stolen as its been untrackable since its been picked up. I now have to go through the process of a claim which i only covered for £100 trusting my parcel would have arrived at destination, the contents were nearly double that. I am now seriously out of pocket & god knows when they will issue my money back from the claim i made. I will Never use this company again this was the first & last time . I wish i read reviews first.

    A present for my granddaughter (Makka Pakka) was dropped over my garden gate when I was out – it poured with rain all afternoon. The cardboard box was sodden through when I got home after 7pm. No attempt to leave a card to arrange a second delivery. Their motto is ‘just get rid of it, with as little effort as possible. I would never order from any company using their service. The item was not ordered from Amazon, they often use Royal Mail.

    After a long time trying to contact Hermes re a missing Christmas present I ordered from Amazon, I finally came across the email contact page to complain. While completing the page, I realised that it wasnt working, so could not complete the form. I tried the phone contact nos to find that nobody answered. In the end I contacted Amazon who will replace the missing item and will hooefully charge Hermes. I also hope Amazon stop using them. Its a shame they couldnt deliver my Grandsons missing Christmas present on time.

    Terrible company/experience, expecting to receive a lot of goods, for delivery BEFORE the New Year. Upon tracking my parcel it says courier delivered! Further to that -a reattempt is to be made. We are in the 21st century if one is struggling to find a more than obvious address News Flash you have a telephone number. Dial it!
    You can not run a Courier company with employee’s unable to track an address, so frustrated.

    On top of that this company makes it very difficult almost IMPOSSIBLE to contact. Be it via – Telephone – Live Chat or – Email: no good. I rather spend £20!!! via DHL delivery for a smother service.

    My comments are exactly the same as Den, Julie and R. Davis. My son received an SMS message saying his parcel had been delivered today. I tracked the parcel delivery number online, and it stated the parcel had been delivered at 08.18am with a signature from the customer, which is an out and out lie, as I was wake at 6.30am and there was no knock on the door or ringing of the bell, so no delivery was made, and I would love to see this signature they say they have, as neither I or my son received anything. I feel very sorry for my son, as he is a hard working student, who has managed to get a job whilst in full time sixth form education, and just wanted to treat himself for Christmas. Unfortunately he had go into work, so I am following this up for him, but if I get any unnecessary complication from these so called couriers, not only will I send a letter to the Chairman at the Head Office at 1 Burton Street, London W1J 6TL, I will also make sure that the press are informed of their lousy conduct. I must also say that a week before this incident, one of their couriers came to make another delivery, rang my bell, and before I could even get to the front door, he was leaving the parcel under my car, and I did have to tell him that when he rings a doorbell, he should at wait at least a couple of minutes to see if anyone is in before attempting to shove the under my car, to which his reply was “I have a lot of deliveries to make and I can’t stand around waiting for people to answer their door”. This is the kind of standard you get from these people, it’s not theirs, they didn’t pay for it, so to hell with the purchasers.

    Absolutely useless. I paid to have my parcel delivered on a specific day when I checked tracking it said someone could not deliver parcel as they couldn’t gain access. Absolute lie – no one called, rang the bell or even bothered to leave a card. It seems I now have to wait up to 3 days to be contacted – not good enough at all. I will be taking this further.

    Truly awful and unhelpful company. Package was due yesterday but failed to show. Email received advising out for delivery today to my work address. Though we are closed I went in at 6am and sat there till 12 noon only to check the tracking and it showed attempted delivery 11am and will now reattempt on Monday.

    Lets be clear here AT NOT TIME DID THE HERMES DRIVER COME ANYWHERE NEAR MY OFFICE TODAY. The claim that they did is a complete lie. Tried ringing their completely useless customer service number. After 20 minutes in the queue the call was answered by someone who simply picked up the phone then replaced the receiver cutting me off. I rang again and remained in queue until I got fed up 42 minutes later. Found another number on saynoto0870 and rang that and was simply transferred back into same queue. Got through 20 minutes later. Very helpful Customer Service agent said he had just rang courier who now said he visited at 8.15am not 11am and business was closed. Customer Services agent said courier had simply not scanned the delivery attempt until 11am??? Could not explain why no card was left if the courier attempted at either time. Customer Service agent logged it as non compliance but this did not get me my day back.

    Its Christmas, they are busy, I get that but to be honest simply lying to get around the fact they could not be bothered/did not have time to visit the delivery address is the mark of a cowboy company. Our business will never ever use or recommend their service.

    Since 2013 this blog has been complaining about myHermes and here we go again.

    3 attempted visits to my 86 year old mother who shouts that she’s on her way to the door. As she is 86 years old she has as many locks as Fort Knox and when she finally gets to the door there’s a card left. So she phones me to tell me and when I try the barcode into the myhermes website it states invalid tracking number.

    Call the standard 0844 number to be told clear off and talk to whoever you bought the goods from. Great if it’s one item. I was sending 3 and so who do I talk to? i took a guess and that seller got as much from his contact as I got from the website. NAFF ALL!

    Tell EVERYONE you know. DON”T USE myHermes. Just maybe they will get the message.

    At some point, hopefully they will screw over someone big enough who will sue them and file for insolvency on them. just like someone did with CityLink.

    Poor Poor Poor customer service, parcel got lost still waiting for refund it has been weeks now, still waiting, keep getting the same automated email coming back but with a different advisers name with it, completely head doing it really is.
    So frustrating, I am now going to have to ring them as just getting totally ignored now.
    I was told by email I would be refunded it would take 7-10 days it is now nearly 20 days what a complete joke! and still NO REFUND

    Delivery problems? You’ll be lucky if you get your parcel picked up in the first place. I had a pickup booked for a parcel 3 days ago, and still no sign of anyone even attempting to collect it. If you run any kind of small business that rellies on sending parcels, forget Hermes. Your phone will be ringing with angry customers wanting to know where their items are. If you try and use MyHermes, the answer to your customers will be, ‘still awaiting collection’. My advice would be pay a couple of pounds more and use someone else – at least your parcels will actually get collected in the first place. They don’t even have a contact phone number (unless you Google it, and get it from an insider source). Forget their online chat and contact ‘service’ too – it’s just there to make you think something is being done. Online chats are conducted with people in India, who probably have no control whatsoever over the destiny of your parcels.

    I have had a parcel just dumped at the back door it is a business address, they didn’t attempt to deliver it at all it was left early in the morning near the bins! I have had this before for things to be delivered to us but this is a large box from Habitat for a neighbour in a flat a few doors away and it has their name and address on it not ours. I have only just returned from holiday and we were closed had it been a few days ago it would have lain there in the rain and anything could have happened to it.

    I have used Hermes home collection service frequently, with 100% satisfaction rate. Then, one day they didn’t collect a parcel. Had to send it by hugely expensive Royal Mail instead then spent 9 days in frustrating webchat & email correspondence with them trying and failing to get my money back. Finally searched the web and found this number 0871 246 1583, and after queueing for 10 mins, the customer service man when I finally spoke to him could not have been more helpful, and sorted everything out. So I shall continue to use this company because they are so attractive compared to Royal Mail, but with reservations, because of the one missed collection.

    I have had a frustrating time trying to contact this company regarding a wedding present which they attempted to deliver for my daughter.I phoned several numbers from their website and on each occasion, was unable to talk to a human. The company has a recorded message about recruitment. This is by far the worst experience of customer service I have ever had. I would never ever use this company again, and I would advise others not to even think about using them. My daughter and her husband would love to get this special wedding present, but don’t hold out much hope

    Hermes is the worst ever deliveries. The fake reference numbers, they are always rude unswering calls, and believe it or not; they even try to steal the packages! I swear in christ church that this is what they do. In my case they tried to steal £ 800 michelin tyres. The tyres showed as delivered in their web site but that was a lie; it showed that someonelse had signed for the parcel! After a long chase however hermes run out of tricks and lies and i finally got the tires. Its a shameless company; well is this a company?! Ok, our” exellent” governement doesn’t care about Its citizens letting thives like hernes carry on cheating people in the middle of the day. STOP using their service unless you want to throu your cash down the drain.

    RANG THE 0800 NUMBER..WAS PUT THROUGH TO ADMIN..NO HELP WHEN COMPLAINING..BUT WAS VERY INSIGHTFUL WITH THE SCANNING HISTORY OF A DELIVERY…IF IT DOESN’T SHOW A SCAN ‘DRIVER RECIEVED’ THEN ‘OUT FOR DELIVERY’.. IT MEANS IT WASN’T PASSED OVER TO THE SUB-CONTRACTED SELF EMPLOYED DRIVER WHICH BEGS TO THINK THEY HAVE LOST MY PARCEL AS THERE IS NO WAREHOUSE SCAN EITHER…COMPAINING TO DISNEY STORES CONTINUSLY. I LIVE IN NORTH LONDON IT SHOULDNT BE THIS DIFFICULT TO DELIVER, ITS NOT LIKE I LIVE IN THE HIGHLANDS.

    The driver changed on my route…now parcels are not delivered. They say they’ve ‘attempted delivery’ but they don’t leave a card! After their 3 ‘attempts’ they send back the parcel to the retailer. This has happened consistently with my last 4 TK Maxx orders. An order from another retailer suffered the same fate and eventually they used Parcel Force to assure delivery….
    I got a response from this Hermes number:03303336556. The guy was pleasant and may turn out to be helpful, time will tell.
    Do I really want to spend 40 minutes a day on this?? NO. If your supplier uses Hermes DON’T ORDER.

        At least royal mail deliver to your front door, unlike my local courier rings the flat buzzer with his finger on it till you get to the intercom then demands you go down stairs and get it, then you tell him you will be two minutes as you need to put some clothes on as just got up as your going out your door he appears and gives you a load of verbal abuse.

        No one came to pick up the parcel .contacted them by email was informed that they will investigate and get back to me.hasnt received any other email from them but on web side showing that parcel was picked up.the more horrible service hasn’t seen in my life. Of course you’ll say that it’s a great company as you’re working there and same as a currier who didn’t turned up to pick up the parcel getting money for nothing

        My experience of a Hermes courier was that he stole a parcel from my hallway and after a month of chasing Hermes they could not identify him. So now in the hands of the police

        Well you must be the only person in the company that does work hard to try and deliver packages to people, as I’m still waiting for my package that was said via the tracking service had been successfully delivered and on checking the CCTV of my house guess what no Hermes Corriere it even attempted to do to deliver the package so reliable no don’t think so rip-off yes totally agree with. It’s just a shame Hermes to not provide the customers satisfaction survey because I’m sure they get more than -5 stars as I wouldn’t even give Hermes a turd to deliver to a sewage farm as I’m sure they would misplace it and say it was successfully delivered, so would I use Hermes again not as long as I breath air!!!!!!!!!!!

        I had delivery on sat wasnt in but said it had been delivered got delivery of something else i asked the driver about the item i didnt get on sat he said i put it beside bin it want there so he looked in bin and the wrapper was in bin he more or less accused me of stealing my own parcel ssid he was friends with all the neighbours wats that got to do with it i hope i never have to use them again im a very honust person and he made me feel like a thief unprofesionall ass

        The Major problem with Hermes is the couriers that take the deliveries and then keep them stored in their homes or vans or garages for days on end…Hermes should monitor their actions and also ensure that the couriers
        have a good knowledge of English to begin with

        Royal Mail may be more expensive but they do not employ a bunch of thieves to make deliveries. Twice I send highly priced items fully insured for their value and twice they went missing!!!! However the parcels I sent which included £20 insurance for the inexpensive items LOL were all delivered. My opinion is insider dealing because on the Returns Labels you have to indicate what the goods are and the insurance value and all this information is printed on the Returns Label which is stuck on the outside of the Parcel. WE CAN’T WIN CAN WE?????

        Getting in touch with Hermes is I agree a dead loss. However since the changed the courier in my area I have had no lost or damaged parcels and Gerry my new courier goes the extra mile to ensure that his customers get their parcels by Carding properly or leaving with a neighbour etc.
